Usually square wire is used but I like the look of the design elements I can create with round wire and it sometimes can be unruly in this application. In this video, B'sue demonstrates her technique for using 24 ga and 20 ga copper binding wire to connect beads and flower findings to filigree, which is actually a prelude to making cagework beaded jewelry. She will also string flower findings on wire as well as bind them, thereby making a vintage style wired brooch.
