Another lunchtime speed sculpt. This time from an image of a rackham miniature. Created from zshperes and some quick 3dsm teeth to assist. Would have modeled the plates instead of scribbled them on, but not enough lunch time! I also wish I had given him a proper tong instead of pulling it out of the geometry. Again--hindsight. Using clay tubes to get large forms, I then use the TrimSmoothBorder brush with square alpha to define the rock texture. Adding and subtracting with specific brushstrokes to grip onto the uneven clay tubes surface, I can produce organic chaotic rock shapes quite quickly.

Designed my own version of Diablo's head with similarities from Diablo 3 but male version and some other changes. 6 hours of footage, rendered in Zbrush and fire added in After Effects with help from Peter St James. another zbrush sculpt timelapse i did using heavy dynamesh. This is the first time I've tried any adventurous workflow stuff haha. I made use of curvetubes and insertsphere on spheres with dynamesh for anyone interested. I know it's a weird time to post a X-mas themed sculpt but you can't help when you're inspired, right! I really dug Yoko Kanno and Maaya Sakamoto's amazing song 'Kissing the Christmas Killer' so I thought I'd make a sculpt to it :) ahhh sad, seems adding the song makes it blocked from any Japanese viewers, if so I mirrored it on vimeo here: vimeo.com
