The Making of The Hammer of Thor Tube. Duration : 3.87 Mins.

"Whosoever holds this hammer, if he be worthy, shall possess the power of Thor." This is an original, one-of-a-kind cast iron replica of The Hammer of Thor. Forged in the fires of the legendary Sloss furnaces in Birmingham, Alabama! The mold was taken from the movie version of the hammer, however, it is NOT an officially licensed product. Complete with battle damage, this iron hammer is beautifully detailed and would make the perfect addition to any fanboy's collection. Why purchase the wimpy foam version when you can have this heavy metal original? This is not a childrens toy, nor should it be used as an actual hammer. It is approximately twenty pounds of pure solid iron! Make all of your friends jealous with this gorgeous, one-of-a-kind work of art! The god of Thunder himself would be pleased! This is a preview of the Brierley-Millman Sculptures catalogue which can be downloaded by clicking on this link: eepurl.com and signing up the the newsletter. "Swamp kauri sculptures sell for million NZ Herald Monday February 14, 2011 10:59PM NZT If you want to sell a wood sculpture to a Texan, make sure it is big. Well, that's what Auckland carver Peter Brierley-Millman has done. Five of his kauri sculptures weighing between five and 12 tonnes each have been sold to a Texan lawyer in Houston for million. Eight months ago, the sculptures were raw blocks of kauri in Northland swamps where they had lain for thousands of years. Now they are lovingly crafted (and huge) pieces of art. "A tree is a living being, and I seek to reveal the inner beauty of its life to allow the tree to live again as a sculpture," says Brierley-Millman. The sculptures, including the two largest named Giantwins, are abstract pieces, but can be sat on. "It plays with that idea of a seat or throne." The buyer, Robert Taylor, has been a customer for the past three years. He started buying Brierley-Millman's pieces after seeing one on display during a holiday in Auckland. "This is the third shipment of sculpture he has bought from me. When they do things over there they really do them. They just go 'Yip, we're doing this'."
