See No Evil: Animated Woodcarving Music Video Tube. Duration : 4.58 Mins.
Woodcarving by Sheri Tharp www.sheritharp.com Please check out my web site for more art and information on woodcarving classes. Film and director of animation by William B Hamilton . http Music: Ellipses by Swimming, Devon Ferrucci www.swimmingaway.net This video documents the carving of a mask carved from linden wood. This particular piece of wood had some lovely mineral staining that gave the wood a silvery blue streak down the center. The wood is a pleasure to carve, nice even grain that cuts smoothly with sharp tools. The finish on this piece was wax.
