This Voltron sculpture is made from over 200 Qualatex balloons and took 30 hours to construct. It stands 6.5 feet tall. It has complete articulation. Its head can rotate 360%, as can its arms. Its legs can swing forward and back. Furthermore the lion heads at the hands and feet can open and close so they can hold weapons. It's wings can swing 360% and can fold in half just like the original toy. Voltron was a cartoon series from the 1980's. It featured 5 robotic lions that could form a super robot. The toy was made from quality plastic and die cast metal. The cartoon series has been rebooted several times and there is plan of a movie in the works. However early sketches of the new movie has a very Michael Bay look to them. I hope public outcry stops this design from coming to reality.
